New York Firefighters Heart Foundation 

The foundation exists to reduce Line of Duty Deaths in the fire service nationwide.

The mission of the foundation is to provide educational and training programs for both on and off of the fire ground. It also provides advanced medical care that enables early detection of diseases that target first responders. The program was developed with an understanding of the risks firefighters are exposed to on a daily basis.

The foundations focus for the future is to continue to bring awareness to the public about critical health and safety issues affecting firefighters in the FDNY and throughout the United States.

Through education and advanced medical screenings we hope to help reduce Line of Duty Deaths in the fire service 50% by 2022.
